Description
This module is designed to discharge both transmitter and receiver battery packs to nominal 1.1v per cell, it will then automatically switch back to the standard battery charger.
Battery cycling is recommended by most manufactures as a method of keeping individual cells within a pack in a balanced condition. Cycling is also the recommended cure for the apparent memory effect that batteries exhibit when they are part discharged and then recharged on a regular basis.
Please note that some transmitters are protected by a blocking diode, this means that the battery pack cannot be discharged whilst fitted within the transmitter. Where possible the pack should be removed and cycled externally.
Operation
Connect as shown below,(remove two screws from cycler base to gain access to screw blocks) switch on charger and connect batteries, the charger light should operate as normal.
To cycle batteries press the red button and if there is power left in the battery the cycler will lock on and the cycler led will light (charger light will go out), when the battery is flat the cycler will automatically switch back to the charger.
