Description
The Multi Cycler contains six independent battery cyclers in one module. It is designed to complement the Multi Charger all though it can also be used in a stand alone mode with a separate power pack.
Each section comprises of a charger connection jack, a battery connection jack, cycler start push button, discharging indicator and pack size control dial.

Operation
1. Connect charger to jack marked C.
2. Set pack size control. (the number of cells in the pack.)
3. Connect battery to jack marked B.
4. Repeat for each output required.
4. Switch on power. (see note 4 ).
5. Check charging is taking place.
6. Press cycle start push button (s).
7. Charger Indicator will go out, cycler discharge indicator will come on.
8. If cycler will not lock on, the battery may be fully discharged.(Transmitter may have a blocking diode fitted. See note 2.)

The batteries will now be discharged down to a nominal 1.1v per cell, as set by front panel control. On completion of the discharge cycle the cycler will be switched off, and the charger will be switched on to complete the charging cycle.

Notes
1. Some JR TX charging jacks are wired tip negative, check before connecting.
2. Some transmitters are fitted with a blocking diode, this prevents reverse charging the battery but also prevents cycling. If this occurs the TX battery will need to be removed to perform cycling and capacity checks.
3. When discharging, a considerable amount of heat will be generated, therefore do not obscure ventilation slots. If used in a stack with the Multi Charger and Capacity Meter install Multi Cycler as the top unit.
4. When the cycler is powered from the Multi Charger use the power pack adapter 'Y' lead supplied with the cycler.
